Hartlepool College

11-15 March 2013
Students have to work as a team to complete the construction.

Every student can walk across once the bridge is ready.

Taking care to ensure good quality from the start saves a lot of time at the end.

Team managers check that the cables are tightened correctly.

Monkseaton School

29-30 January 2013

The two halves of the bridge done by different teams will have to
 match in the middle.

All students and supervisors are wearing PPI (Personal Protective Equipment)
 to prevent any injuries.

If any questions or problems arise, supervisers are always there to help.

A chance to construct a bridge is a unique activity for students and
something which both, boys and girls, are excited about.
Students are proud with their work!
